To put pictures on you userpage, you need to have images stored on some photo storage site. I use photobucket.com(its free). After you upload the pics, you copy the image tags. Looks like this.
<img src="http://img78.photobucket.com/albums/v356/kastelic4444/4.jpg">

Then go to your "customize userpage" section, and paste them in there. Then hit the update userpage button. Thats it your done. I hope that helped.

PS: When you store stuff at photobucket, the file size must be less than 250k or it resizes it and you lose quality.
